Partnerships
Active Music Review considers collaborations that fit the interests of people making music and keep the distinction between editorial work and paid placement easy to see.
Relevant collaborations
We consider clearly defined projects such as educational resources, music-making events, creative tools and discussions that help readers engage with musical practice. A proposal should explain the intended audience, the format, the contribution each party would make and how readers benefit. We do not infer a partner or its credentials from a name or web address.
Partner placements
Relevant standing partner placements may be considered when they are useful to readers and fit the publication's subject. Placement details, duration and supplied wording should be agreed before publication. Every paid or partner-supported placement is labelled clearly; a placement does not buy influence over independent articles.
Starting a conversation
Send a concise proposal through the Contact page, choosing the partnership option. Include the nature of the collaboration, the material or placement proposed and any relevant timing. We review ideas for fit and clarity; contacting us is not a promise of acceptance.
Music gets interesting when you join in
Active Music Review is for people who want to make music, not just read about it. We focus on choices you can try, hear and adapt to your own practice.
